Unity16 was created from doing service. I did not find it, it found me. I made my first virtual token for a friend Gary Wilson for his one year anniversary April 9, 2014. I thought it would be a good idea to have something to share through our phones and post online. That's how it began.

Unfortunately my friend Gary passed July 21, 2025. RIP brother.

I never imagined doing real tokens. Although as life had it. I was chairing a lead speaker meeting in Madison Heights, Michigan and I requested my friend Billy W. do the lead. At the end of the meeting he gave me a convention token and helped me with information to start doing my own. The first token had a Camel on it and was for one day at a time. I did not sell it, but started giving it away to about 70 people in the program that have helped me.

I am always amazed how once I surrendered. Let go and let God. Many Miracles and gifts have came into my life. I still do virtual tokens. I also do a variety of tri-plate tokens, bumper stickers and some other items. It's been an awesome journey.

I live in Michigan. Area 33. District 16. That is where the name Unity16 came from.

I do have an etsy site and have recently taken my store on the site down. I am focusing on supporting Local AA offices and offer them wholesale prices. I would prefer you buy my tokens from your local office rather than from my store. Support those who support us.
